The difference to Fusing
In contrast to fusing glass, GLASZONE elements retain the typical gleaming of crystal glass that occurs when light is reflected. In fusing glass the brilliance is lost when the coloured glass is melted (powder is placed on a glass plate and melted in an oven, becoming one mass).
The difference to lead crystal
Ground lead crystal glass and crystals acquire their brilliance through a time-consuming series of production steps. This makes them expensive and they are therefore difficult to integrate in GLASZONE elements. GLASZONE retains the gleam of lead glass crystal by the surface coating it applies during its patented production process, not through a grinding process.!!!
